Pakistan Customs foiled the smuggling attempts at Karachi Airport.

Karachi: Pakistan Customs seized electronic items and valuables from a passenger coming from the United States at Jinnah International Airport.

The passenger had arrived in Karachi from Doha via flight number QR-604. During X-ray screening, the luggage was found to be suspicious and a detailed inspection was conducted.

6 iPhone 18 Pro Max, 2 MacBook Airs, 1 MacBook Pro and 2 Mac Mini were recovered from the luggage.

9 Apple Watches, 3 iPad Airs, 4 iPad Magic Keyboards, 5 Apple AirPods, 8 Meta Glasses and 7 women’s handbags were also recovered. The luggage also included 3 kg of cosmetics and 9 multivitamins.

According to customs officials, the value of the recovered goods is more than Rs 6 million. The goods were seized under the Customs Act 1969 while further legal action has been initiated.
