Tehran: Turkmenistan prevented an Iranian plane from entering its airspace, and the Iranian flight had to return to Tehran after it was denied permission.
According to the Iranian Civil Aviation, the Iranian plane made an emergency landing at Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport. Majid Akhavan, spokesman for the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran, confirmed the incident.
According to Iranian media, all Iranian airline flights to the United Arab Emirates have also been canceled, and the United Arab Emirates has not yet officially informed Iran about the suspension of flights.
According to a spokesman for the Iranian Civil Aviation, the schedule of Iranian flights has been removed from the departure boards of Emirati airports.
