Lahore: An important development has come to light regarding the case of national cricketer Muhammad Rizwan. According to sources, Muhammad Rizwan is not fully cooperating with the NCCIA inquiry.
According to sources, the NCCIA contacted Muhammad Rizwan several times for a forensic deep analysis of his mobile phone, but Muhammad Rizwan tried to disrupt it every time and made excuses. Sources say that not fully cooperating in the investigation is increasing suspicions. To finalize the investigation, it is necessary to unlock the phone’s anti-theft lock and facial recognition lock.
According to sources, the NCCIA can unlock the phone with the help of various mobile tools, however, using these tools may delete some data, which the NCCIA does not want. Sources said that the NCCIA will contact Muhammad Rizwan again on September 28. In case of non-cooperation, a written notice will be sent to him and legal action will be taken.
According to sources, some people are instigating Mohammad Rizwan, but he is not actually his well-wisher. Sources say that ICC Anti-Corruption Code 6.1.1 allows for an inquiry, while ICC ACU Code 6.1.2 also allows for a criminal inquiry. Sources made it clear that they do not want to make any accusations until the investigation is complete. The aim is not to bring anyone to justice, but to make national heroes feel their responsibility.
On the other hand, cricketer Imam-ul-Haq is cooperating with the NCCIA investigation. According to sources, the forensic deep analysis of Imam-ul-Haq’s mobile phone was started in his presence and it is hoped that the deep analysis of his phone will be completed soon.
Sources say that like Imam-ul-Haq, Mohammad Rizwan should also cooperate in the investigation. The NCCIA is investigating from various angles, including online betting, corruption, criminal activities.
