Lahore: The Punjab government has decided to ban devices used for spying.
A spokesperson for the Punjab Home Department said in a statement that the Punjab government has taken this decision to protect the private life and personal information of citizens. There will be a complete ban on glasses, pens, watches and other devices equipped with hidden cameras and recording devices.
According to the spokesperson, legal action will be taken against the use and sale of spying devices and hidden electronic devices.
According to the spokesperson, the decision to ban spying devices was made to ensure the safety of women and children. Complaints of illegal surveillance, harassment and blackmail through spying devices have come to light. There will be strict punishment for the illegal use of everyday items equipped with hidden cameras.
