Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Jr. said in a statement that I indeed intended to enter politics and I will start it with the Shaheed Bhutto Group of the Pakistan People’s Party. He said that this party was founded by my father, it still exists, and we will lead it. I have a lot to learn from my country and people because I do not think I know everything, I am preparing for it.
He further said that the issue of disputed canals in Sindh is a matter of life and death for the people there; if there is no water in Sindh, humans and aquatic life will not be able to survive. Zulfikar Jr. also described this situation as cultural genocide.
In response to a question, he said that the government in Sindh is currently trembling because they have seen how many people are protesting, including school children and women, so they are changing the narrative.
