The Islamabad High Court has restored the meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A larger bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Sarfraz Dogar, Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir, and Justice Muhammad Azam heard the petitions regarding the jail meetings of PTI founder Imran Khan.
The lawyer, Jail Superintendent Adiala, told the court that jail meetings were being held under the same SOPs until December. After January, the status changed, and there were also security threats. According to the jail manual, the PTI founder’s meeting is being held on Tuesdays. After January, the status of the PTI founder changed from under-trial prisoner to convicted prisoner.
The Acting Chief Justice said that every person comes with a request to meet me in jail, to which the lawyer Jail Superintendent said that they use the jail meetings for political purposes.

The Islamabad High Court ordered the restoration of the meeting in Imran Khan’s jail on Tuesday and Thursday, saying that only the name given by the coordinator of the founder of PTI, Salman Akram Raja, will be able to meet him. There will be no media talk after the meeting with the founder of PTI. Whoever meets the founder of PTI will not talk to the media.
