The recent appointment of Saadullah Khan Mahsud, a deputy director on deputation from NAB, as the head of anti-human trafficking and in-charge of Peshawar airport has raised several eyebrows within and outside the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). Moreover, Mahsud’s deputation period from NAB to FIA has reportedly ended, but he continues to be retained and appointed to sensitive and technical posts.
