After receiving interesting comments and ridicule on social media, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Huzaifa Rehman has clarified his statement that Shahbaz Sharif’s IQ level is ‘equivalent to Isaac Newton’ and said that “people have less information and education.”
he compared the Prime Minister’s intelligence to that of renowned scientist Isaac Newton while discussing Shahbaz Sharif’s working style and the performance and competence of cabinet members on an ARY News talk show yesterday.
Huzaifa Rehman said that Shahbaz Sharif’s competence and work scale are very different, which ‘cannot be fully achieved’.She added that “If Shahbaz Sahib had his way, 52-53 of the 55 ministers sitting in the cabinet would be dismissed, (only 2-3 would remain.”
After this, Huzaifa Rehman claimed that “Shehbaz Sahib’s IQ is close to that of Isaac Newton” and he often says this to the Prime Minister.
On this occasion, the show’s anchor Ashfaq Ishaq Satti asked her if Shehbaz Sharif were to judge the cabinet members by his standards, would they be among the surviving members or among the dismissed ones.
In response, Huzaifa Rehman said, “Look, I think I would be because I know how to follow his…[methodology] and my IQ is also close to his IQ.”
This claim of the Prime Minister’s advisor quickly went viral on social media and this statement was widely discussed and commented on. Later, Huzaifa Rehman’s explanation for this statement also came to light, which was given during a conversation on another talk show of ARY News.
he blamed journalists and social media users for this statement becoming the center of attention on social media, saying, “We have two journalists, Mehwish and Zeeshan Awan… They tweeted that video clip and it became top trending, and everyone started asking how do you know that Newton and Shahbaz Sahib have the same IQ level.”
he said, “People have less information and education. Science says that if anyone’s human brain was used the most, it was Isaac Newton. His IQ was 168.”He further said that science analyzes and there is a regular scale through which anyone’s IQ level can be tested, and there is a regular formula and method for it.
“So I said that if Shahbaz Sahib analyzes things so quickly and reacts to them, then inevitably his IQ level is more than 150.”Huzaifa Rehman continued her explanation and added, “I estimated that if Newton’s IQ level is 168, then Shahbaz Sahib’s will be around 158 or 160.”
She criticized journalists and social media users, saying, “Instead of understanding it formally and technically, a whole trend was made against me that Huzaifa Rehman is comparing Shahbaz Sahib’s IQ to Isaac Newton.”
During the show, to silence the host who was talking about Newton and to show off her acquired knowledge regarding science and Newton, she said, “Yes, of course, I know, I am telling you, Newton gave 3 laws of motion.”
