American visa has been granted to the Iranian President.

Washington: The US has approved the issuance of visas to Iranian leaders.

According to a US State Department spokesperson, an Iranian delegation will attend the UN General Assembly session, which is scheduled to take place in New York next week. The Iranian delegation will be subject to travel restrictions; under US policy, they will not be permitted to purchase luxury items or certain other goods.

It was also clarified that the Iranian delegation this year will be smaller than the one that attended last year.
