The case against the dismissal of Dr. Shahzad Ali Khan, Vice Chancellor of Health Services Academy, has been fixed for hearing on September 23 after being transferred from the court of the Chief Justice IHC to the court of Justice Umair Majeed Malik, after the recommendation of the Standing Committee of Parliament on Human Rights.
According to the details, Dr Ayesha, the Ex-employee of Health Services Academy, blames Dr Shahzad, the VC of HSA, for sexual harassment as well as physical abuse. After appearing before the FOSPAH, Dr Shahzad was found guilty and recommended for dismissal, but the accused pleaded with the President of Pakistan to avoid dismissal.
In August 2026, the President also rejected his request and endorsed his dismissal. Upon his rejection from both reputed institutions of the country, Dr Shahzad obtained a stay order from the court of the Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court, Sarfaraz Dogar.
Upon which the matter reached the Standing Committee of Parliament House on Human Rights.
Dr Ayesha appeared in committee and explained her grievances. Dr Ayesha started crying while talking about the circumstances she endured.
She said that she spent 15 million rupees on legal fees but did not get justice. On which member of the committee expressed their solidarity with her and ordered the Ministry of Human Rights Commission to take necessary measures to prevent such cases.

The wife of Dr Shahzad surprisingly appeared before the committee without any prior information about her arrival. But fail to convince the committee about her stance.
