After 20 years, an advisory was issued by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) headquarters to stop human trafficking.

A letter has been issued from the FIA ​​headquarters to the Deputy Directors of Immigration across the country. Instructions have been given to monitor the passengers of 15 countries, especially 9 cities of Pakistan, and 2 airlines.

The advisory was prepared from an analysis of the IBMS database for July-December. In the advisory, for the first time, it has been ordered to tighten surveillance on foreign travelers between the ages of 15 and 40 years.

Furthermore, it has been ordered to investigate passengers going to Azerbaijan, Ethiopia, Senegal, Kenya, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. Apart from this, an order has also been issued for profiling passengers going to Libya, Iran, Mauritania, Iraq, Turkey, Qatar, Kuwait, and Kyrgyzstan.

According to the advisory, the transfer and movement of passengers on visit, tourism, religious, or educational visas of 15 countries has been reviewed, and strict monitoring of passengers from Mandi Bahauddin, Gujarat, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Bhimbar has been ordered.

The advisory ordered better passenger profiling measures at Jhelum, Toba Tek Singh, Hafizabad, and Sheikhupura, and all documents, including return tickets, and hotel bookings, should be scrutinized with special attention to visit or tourist visas, and suspicious passengers and their purpose of travel and financial arrangements.
