A truck full of non-customs paid goods was seized near Motorway M14, Fateh Jang by traffic Police authorities, and arrested the truck driver. Non-customs paid goods include cigarettes, dry milk, cloth, and china salt.
The operation was carried out based on confidential information and as soon as the incident was reported, SPM 14 reached the spot along with a heavy contingent. Customs officials were also summoned on the spot. And the truck was shifted to Custom Warehouse Islamabad where the amount of non-custom paid goods is being estimated.
According to initial information, the truck was going from Dera Ismail Khan towards Rawalpindi, further investigation is going on by Pak Customs.
