It should be noted that in an interview, Ahmed Al-Sharaa mentioned the difficult times of the past and said that because of them, his wife was also forced to live with him in the mountains. The new Syrian president further said that during that difficult period, we had to change residences several times and his wife always faced difficulties with a smile on her face.

Not much information is available about the First Lady of Syria, Latifa Al-Sharaa, but according to the information available so far, she belongs to the Syrian town of ‘Al-Qurateen’.The First Lady of Syria belongs to a well-known religious family in Syria and has a master’s degree in Arabic language and literature.

According to the BBC, her family includes well-known religious figures such as Sheikh Abdul Ghaffar al-Droub, a well-known reciter in Syria. Saudi media has claimed that one of Latifa Samir al-Droubi’s ancestors, Alaa al-Droubi, became the second president of Syria in 1920. However, just a month later, Alaeddin al-Darubi was assassinated on August 21, 1920. He also served as ambassador to the Ottoman Empire.
