In a recent administrative development, Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced key changes in its top-level management through Office Order No. 6651-66ESCO/DG(HRY).
Mr. Javed Iqbal (ERP# 1024632), previously serving as Director General (HR) at IESCO Headquarters, Islamabad, has been transferred and posted as Director General (Administration & Services) against a vacant post. This change takes effect immediately and will remain in force until further orders.
Following this transition, and in line with Office Order No. 15955-16000 dated April 8, 2025, Mr. Muhammad Kamran Sarwar (ERP# 1000308), who was recently promoted to BPS-20 as Director General (HR/Admn), has been appointed as the new Director General (HR) at IESCO HQ, succeeding Mr. Javed Iqbal.
Consequently, Office Order No. 16445-60/IESCO/HQs/CEO dated April 10, 2025, has been declared null and void from the outset. The Chief Executive Officer of IESCO has directed that these changes be implemented without delay. All concerned departments and individuals have been instructed to ensure the timely submission of arrival, departure, and charge assumption reports.
This strategic reshuffle reflects IESCO’s ongoing commitment to strengthening administrative efficiency and enhancing service delivery across the organization.
