According to the details, the Illegal Foreigners Repatriation Program (IFRP) has been ongoing since November 1, 2023. The national leadership has now decided to repatriate Afghan citizen cardholders as well. The Ministry of Interior has said that illegal foreigners and Afghan citizen card holders should voluntarily leave Pakistan by March 31, and the deportation will be implemented from April 1, 2025.
The Interior Ministry has further said that no one will be mistreated during the return process, and food and health care arrangements have also been made for the returnees. It should be noted that enough time has already been given for the dignified return of foreigners, and Pakistan has been a kind host for the refugees.
Pakistan is fulfilling its promises and responsibilities as a responsible state; foreigners living in Pakistan will have to fulfill legal requirements and abide by the Constitution of Pakistan.
