India has successfully tested the high-speed ‘Vande Bharat‘ train on the world’s highest railway bridge, the Chenab Bridge, in Delhi-administered Jammu and Kashmir. The railway bridge is built at a height of about 1270 feet.
The bridge, under the supervision of the Western Indian Railways Corporation, is part of the Udhampur, Srinagar, Baramulla Rail Link project, which aims to connect important places in Kashmir.
