The meetings of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee and the Zonal Committees have been called for March 30 (Sunday) to see the Shawwal moon.

According to the Government Sources, the meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, where the Shawwal moon will be sighted as well as testimonies will be received from across the country.

Religious scholars, meteorologists, and others will participate in the meeting. The date for celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr in Pakistan will be announced in case the moon is sighted or not. It should be noted that the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meeting for sighting the Ramadan moon was held in Peshawar on February 28.
