A court in the Indian state of Gujarat has sentenced three Muslim citizens to death in a cow slaughter case.
According to the report, 277 kg of beef was recovered from three youths, Waseem Qureshi, Muhammad Rafiq Qureshi and Ashfaq, for which they were sentenced to life imprisonment, and a fine of 3 lakh Indian rupees was also imposed.
Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi, while praising the decision, said that it is a clear message that the law will not spare those who slaughter cows.
