Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan supports Iran’s nuclear program for peaceful purposes, Iran has every right to acquire nuclear power for peaceful purposes, Pakistan stands with Iran for its rights, there was no justification for Israel’s aggression on Iran, the Iranian leadership took strong decisions against the enemy in a courageous manner.

Addressing a joint press conference with Iranian President Masoud Peshkeshian in Islamabad, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that Iran is our most brotherly and friendly country, the people of Pakistan strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on Iran.

The Prime Minister said that there was no justification for Israel’s aggression on Iran, we pray for the highest ranks of those martyred in the war, and we pray for the speedy recovery of the Iranian brothers and sisters injured in the war.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the Iranian army and people showed steadfastness in the war, the Iranian leadership and army bravely resisted the Israeli attacks, the Iranian leadership took strong decisions against the enemy in a courageous manner.

The Prime Minister made it clear that Pakistan supports Iran’s nuclear program for peaceful purposes, Pakistan stands with Iran for its rights, the memorandums of understanding will soon be converted into agreements, the $10 billion trade target will be achieved soon,

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan and Iran have the same thinking against terrorism, the highways of peace and development have to be opened in the region, development and prosperity in the region are possible only with sustainable peace.

The Prime Minister further said that Israel is using food as a weapon for the Palestinians, there should be an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the Iranian leadership raised its voice strongly for Palestine and Gaza, the world must unite for the oppressed Palestinians.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the situation in occupied Kashmir is no different from Gaza, the Kashmir valley has turned red with the blood of the oppressed Kashmiris.There is a dire need for unity of the Muslim Ummah, Iranian President

On this occasion, Iranian President Masoud Peshkeshian said that Israel is pursuing an agenda to destabilize the region, aggression in Gaza, Lebanon and Syria is part of Israeli nefarious intentions, Muslim countries should unite for peace.

Iranian President Masoud Peshkeshian further said that the Security Council should take notice of Israeli atrocities, he is sincerely grateful for Pakistan’s support against Israeli aggression, in the present era there is a dire need for unity of the Muslim Ummah.

The Iranian President said that relations between Pakistan and Iran are based on common culture and religion, Allama Iqbal’s poetry is a beacon for us as well, the basis of Allama Iqbal’s poetry is the unity of the Muslim Ummah.

The guest president said that good relations with Pakistan are an important part of Iran’s foreign policy, they are advancing bilateral relations in different dimensions, promoting bilateral cooperation in political, economic and cultural sectors is a priority, and exchanging memorandums of understanding in different sectors is important.

The Iranian President said that he is committed to maintaining relations with Pakistan and finalizing the memorandums of understanding. He said that regional peace and development are closely linked, and bilateral cooperation is ongoing to improve border security.
