Islamabad – The Pakistan Ex-Servicemen Society (PESS) has strongly condemned what it described as India’s continued sponsorship of terrorism and subversive activities aimed at destabilising Pakistan.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, PESS said that for years, India has been actively supporting elements involved in violence, propaganda, and hybrid warfare against Pakistan. The organisation said the recent escalation of such actions “once again exposes India’s malicious intent and deep hostility” toward the country.
“India has been financing, training, and facilitating terrorist groups that operate to harm Pakistan,” the statement read, adding that “Indian media and political figures themselves have made revealing statements confirming this involvement.”
Referring to recent tensions, PESS said Pakistan had once again “stood united against Indian aggression in May 2025 and defeated its designs with courage, discipline, and national resolve.” It added that the Armed Forces of Pakistan, with the full backing of the nation, “foiled every attempt aimed at undermining national sovereignty.”
The statement urged the international community and global institutions not to turn a blind eye to what it called “India’s violations of international law and human rights.” It said continued silence on the issue would only embolden India to further destabilise South Asia.
Reaffirming its support for the Pakistan Armed Forces, PESS saluted the nation’s Shuhada (martyrs) and Ghazis (war veterans) for their sacrifices in safeguarding peace and dignity.
“Pakistan seeks peace — but not at the cost of honour or sovereignty,” said Maj Gen Javed Aslam Tahir (Retd), President of PESS. “Any aggression or terrorism against Pakistan will be met with a firm, united, and decisive response.”
