According to details, the national airline PIA has accelerated preparations for flight operations in the UK, before the flight operations, PIA issued a tender for flight catering service. IA has invited applications for flight catering service at 3 stations in the UK, applications were invited from registered companies for catering service at London, Manchester, and Birmingham stations. Interested companies have been instructed to send applications to the Country Manager UK.
PIA hopes to get permission for flights in the UK soon as currently, a team of the British CAA and the Department of Transport is conducting an audit on a visit to Pakistan.PIA hopes to resume flights soon after the success of the CAA and PIA audits.
It should be remembered that the national airline is going to start its flight operations directly to the UK in mid-March. In this regard, the airline has started work on activating its slot at London’s Heathrow Airport and starting operations from Terminal 4.
The national airline management said that the British audit team is auditing the PIA Flight Safety Department, Engineering, and other aviation safety departments. It is highly hoped that PIA will achieve success, after which its Boeing 777 aircraft will be used for the UK.
