Islamabad residents are sounding the alarm about a growing drug problem in sectors G-6 and G-7, with 33 alleged drug traffickers identified, including a serving police officer and a former officer. These individuals are accused of peddling hashish, heroin, ice, cocaine, and alcohol.
Alleged Drug Dealers and Their Activities:
Hashish Dealers:
- Raza Khan and Tamroz Khan (G-6/2)
- Shanyal alias Gutka, Ramiz, and Ramesh (relatives of Yousuf alias Choski)
- Amy Flats Wala (G-6/4)
- Shakeel (G-6/12, Gali No. 62)
- Afzal Kashmiri (G-6/12, Gali No. 61)
- Adeel Khan and his brother (G-7/4, near Gulshan Market)
- Fahad Khan
- Waleed Boxer, Ali Okha, and Sami Abbasi (serving police officer)
Alcohol Dealers:
- Arshad alias Acha and his son Sharon (G-6/2, from a hotel)
- Yousuf alias Choski and his brother Ilyas Jeevan (G-6/1)
- Sanawar alias Bula and his brother (Awami Market G-7)
 Heroin and Ice Dealers:
- Riazuddin (G-6/14)
- Haider alias Belly (Aamir Market, former police officer)
- Umair Gujar (G-6/12, big dealer with hired hands Fahad alias Fadi, Jahanzeb, Shahzeb, Fakhir alias Fakhri, and others)
Residents are demanding action from the Interior Minister and IG Islamabad to crack down on these dealers and eliminate the drug trade in the area. If not addressed, sectors G-6 and G-7 might become no-go areas for the police. The Dolphin Force personnel were recently tortured by these dealers, and a case was registered, but the main accused, Umair Gujar, remains at large.
