According to sources, 4,740 convicted Pakistani prisoners were deported from September 2023 to January 2025. These Pakistani citizens have served their sentences in various prisons in the United Arab Emirates. During this period, 5,800 other Pakistani citizens were deported based on various crimes.
The UAE rejected visa applications from more than 50,000 Pakistani citizens in 2024.
