Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi takes charge of the Cyber Crime Investigation Agency. Upon assuming charge, Mr Rizvi conducted a meeting comprising Directors of Pakistan, Additional Directors, Deputy Directors and Assistant Directors.
Whilst elaborating policies to officials, Director General NCCIA clarified that directing negative propaganda against the Government or Governmental Institutes cannot be tolerated. Any individual involved in anti-government propaganda will be punished legally.
If abusive words or derogatory statements are used for women on social media or they are harassed, then severe action will be taken immediately. Harassment will be held accountable in the worst way possible.
All officials were made clear that dishonesty is not an option; corruption will not be tolerated, if an officer is found involved in corruption, then legal action will be taken against him.
Illicit call centers will not be permitted to continue. Against illicit call centers nationwide, serious operations will be launched, and if it comes out that an officer has failed to take immediate action against any call center, then he will also be held accountable.
Scheming, online illicit activities, Gambling applications, and call centers are non-negotiable. A serious crackdown will be launched against them
To ensure easy access of locals to the NCCIA department, it has been joined with the 15 health line number so that, dial link 15, individuals can directly link to the NCCIA department for immediate information. Universal numbers will also be provided to citizens
After every 24 hours, each officer’s performance will be monitored. Their official activities will be monitored, based on which performance appraisals will be made.
Cyber patrolling will further be accelerated so that criminal activities can continuously be monitored across social media platforms or the internet, and severe action can be taken against them in a timely.
