A grand ceremony was organized at FIA Headquarters on International Women’s Day. Director General FIA Jan Muhammad, additional Director Generals, and other senior officers, along with Women officers and officials serving in different zones of the country, participated in the ceremony.
Additional DG FIA Abbas Ahsan, in his address, paid tribute to the women officials serving in the organization. Director Anti-Money Laundering Samira Azam’s efforts regarding the FATF Grey List are welcome, not only for the organization but also for the country.
Deputy Director Nazia Ambreen, Sub-Inspector Kanza, and other women officers are commendable for their services in the areas of cybercrime, immigration, investigation, admin, and innovation in the organization. The proportion of female officers in the FIA is significantly higher than in other law enforcement agencies.
At the end of the ceremony, DG FIA Jan Muhammad addressed and appreciated the role of female officers in the organization. Women in the organization are not only performing important investigation tasks but also holding various leadership positions.
