NADRA Chairman Lieutenant General Munir Afsar met with Acting Chairman Senate Syedal Khan at Parliament House. During the meeting, a detailed discussion was held on NADRA’s services and performance.
The Acting Chairman Senate, while appreciating the public services of NADRA, discussed the difficulties faced in obtaining identity cards in remote areas of Balochistan. The Acting Chairman Senate said that NADRA is providing facilities to the people in Balochistan province in obtaining identity cards. Should be the top priority.
Syedal Khan stressed on simplifying and speeding up the process of obtaining identity cards in Balochistan and said that NADRA’s initiatives should reflect the service provided to the people of Balochistan. He said that people in remote areas of the province should get identity cards. Every effort should be made to eliminate the difficulties encountered in achieving this.
Chairman NADRA gave a detailed briefing to the Acting Chairman Senate on NADRA’s ongoing projects in Balochistan and informed them about the steps taken by the organization.
The Acting Chairman Senate, expressing confidence in NADRA’s performance, said that NADRA should promote the use of modern technology and make the process of obtaining an identity card transparent and easy.
He said that the number of NADRA offices in Balochistan province should be increased so that the public can be provided more convenience in obtaining identity cards.
Acting Chairman Senate Syedal Khan expressed his determination that ending the problems faced by the people of Balochistan is his top priority. He said that all possible steps will be taken to improve the process of obtaining identity cards.
