Bahraini Foreign Minister meets Field Marshal Asim Munir and discusses bilateral defense cooperation

Rawalpindi: Bahraini Foreign Minister Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani met with Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters (GHQ).

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters of mutual interest, the regional security situation and bilateral defence and security cooperation between Pakistan and Bahrain were discussed in the meeting.

Highlighting the long-standing brotherly relations between Pakistan and Bahrain, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said that the relations between the two countries are based on shared values ​​and mutual respect.

The Field Marshal reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields including defence and security.

The Bahraini Foreign Minister appreciated the professional capabilities and operational readiness of Pakistan’s armed forces and expressed his determination to further promote bilateral cooperation.

Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani also acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts and role for regional peace and stability.
