Karachi: The State Bank has announced a monetary policy.
State Bank Governor Jamil Ahmed told a press conference that the State Bank has announced a 50-basis-point increase in interest rates.
The Governor State Bank said that the interest rate has been increased from 11.5 percent to 12 percent.
He said that the rate of inflation is continuously increasing and the increase in oil prices has also had an impact, the interest rate has been increased due to inflation.
