The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has been cracking down on drug smuggling in educational institutions and various cities across Pakistan. In a recent series of operations, the ANF arrested 3 suspects and recovered a massive 1138.11 kg of drugs worth over 370 million rupees.

The operations were conducted in several cities, including Lahore, Karachi, and Islamabad. Some notable recoveries include:

– 30 heroin capsules: Recovered from the stomach of a passenger traveling to Jeddah from Lahore International Airport.

– 840 kg of opium and 150 kg of hashish: Seized near the Mashkhel border in Balochistan.

– 60.3 kg of hashish: Recovered from an accused individual in Machar Colony, Karachi.

– 84 kg of heroin: Found hidden in the Chaman area of Balochistan.

– 3.6 kg of hashish: Recovered from an accused individual near the Islamabad Expressway.

The ANF has registered cases against the arrested suspects under the Narcotics Control Act and has initiated an investigation. These efforts demonstrate the ANF’s commitment to combating drug smuggling and protecting Pakistani citizens.
