An important meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Chief Traffic Officer. Special traffic arrangements will be made for Pakistan Day.

According to the details, an important meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Traffic Officer Islamabad Captain (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider, in which SP Traffic Majid Iqbal and all Zonal DSPs participated. The aim of the meeting was to take special steps to ensure traffic flow in Islamabad on the occasion of Pakistan Day (March 23).

Issuing instructions, the CTO said that a comprehensive special traffic plan has been prepared regarding Pakistan Day, under which traffic on important highways will be diverted to alternative routes so that citizens do not face any kind of trouble. He directed the Zonal DSPs to provide alternative routes as per the traffic plan and provide timely awareness to the citizens, special arrangements have been made to maintain traffic flow. No parking will be allowed on this occasion, and citizens have been appealed to park their vehicles in the designated parking areas only.

CTO Islamabad Capt (R) Syed Zeeshan urged the public to follow the instructions of the traffic police and use social media, FM radio, and other sources to be aware of alternative routes. For any traffic-related information, citizens can contact the traffic police helpline 15 or social media platforms.
