Islamabad: An important meeting on the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has begun under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
During the meeting at the Prime Minister’s House, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Minister for Kashmir Affairs Amir Muqam, Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar and Information Minister Atta Tarar are also participating.
According to sources, the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will consider governor’s rule and other options. Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari has called an important meeting at the Presidency. The meeting, chaired by President Asif Ali Zardari, will review the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Sources further said that there is a possibility of the Prime Minister meeting the President. After meeting Mohsin Naqvi and Amir Muqam, the Prime Minister will go to the Presidency.
