A settlement has been reached between suspended FIA Director Counterterrorism, Hamayun Massod Sindhu, and his alleged wife, Assistant Director FIA, Sania Shahid, in a sexual harassment case. The two have agreed not to pursue further legal action against each other.
Sania Shahid had previously claimed that her marriage to Hamayun Massod Sindhu was forced. However, the new settlement, which involves several credible bureaucrats, makes it difficult to declare this agreement as forced.
On the other hand, sources suggest that a powerful figure in the country has expressed severe anger upon reviewing Hamayun Massod Sindhu’s file. As a result, while Hamayun Massod Sindhu may reconcile with Sania Shahid, it’s unlikely that he will be able to save his job. This is because he has been accused of failing to register 11 cases related to Afghan passports and showing deliberate incompetence and negligence in a high-profile case.
