The issue of possession of 1200 Kanal government land in Charsadda has taken a new turn. Acting DSP Shabqadar Ehsanullah was ordered to report to the Central Police Office in Peshawar after the news came out.
Speaking to the media, Ehsanullah said that he was following the instructions of DPO Charsadda, but now he is being made a scapegoat. He said that he was only carrying out the orders of his officers, but the entire blame has been put on him.
On the other hand, the Director of the Anti-Corruption Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has initiated an investigation against DPO Charsadda for alleged links with the mafia. According to sources, the fabric of this case goes to a senior officer of the Central Police Office of Peshawar, on whose orders the DPO has allegedly occupied the government land. It has also been revealed that an attempt is being made to suppress the issue by placing the entire responsibility on a lower-level officer, like Acting DSP.
