A massive corruption scandal has been dug up in the transport department of Pakistan Television (PTV), a former driver Mohammad Naeem, misused his charge after being illegally appointed as Transport In charge. According to sources, Naeem and his team made bogus fuel expense receipts and became the cause of the loss of one million rupees to the institution.

Furthermore Naeem has been renting cars from his personal rental company to PTV and earning an ample amount of rent, in addition to the 2.9 million rupees he received in the form of fuel expenses. This corruption ring is not limited to Naeem alone, as several officers and helpers are also involved.

This scandal is just the tip of the iceberg, as PTV has been plagued by corruption, nepotism, and mismanagement. In the past, there have been reports of illegal appointments, promotions, and extensions, with some individuals holding multiple positions and receiving handsome salary.

To Confront corruption, it is necessary to punish the responsible. Taking strict action against Muhammad Naeem and his collaborators can help to reduce corruption and promote transparency within PTV and other institutions.
