The Australian newspaper “Sydney Morning Herald” compiled the list after consulting sports journalists and seeking their opinions.
Pakistan’s squash legend Jahangir Khan has been included in the list of the 50 greatest athletes, with the Australian newspaper describing him as an “invincible” player of his time.
Jahangir Khan has been ranked 25th on the list. During his illustrious career, he won 10 British Open and 6 World Titles, and remained unbeaten for five years, winning 555 consecutive matches.
Basketball star Michael Jordan topped the list, followed by Usain Bolt and Serena Williams.
