Islamabad Police become a supporter of mobile snatchers. The accused in mobile snatching from foreign citizens on Trial 5 escaped from the secretariat police station very easily. The incident happened when the accused was taken by ASI Naeem to appear before the court and was remanded in physical custody. But after a court appearance the accused escaped with handcuffs as like any Hollywood movie.
According to the ASI Naeem ASI, he also followed him but due to an accident with a vehicle accused succeeded in escaping and received several injuries.
According to the information received from the sources of The INQUIRER, the police made an artificial story of the accident to excuse Naeem ASI, but in reality, the Police are involved with the accused just for the sake of a few pennies.
The event proves the negligence of the SHO of the Secretariat Police station with all his arrogance. Now all this matter requires the strict notice of IG Islamabad to investigate the ASI Naeem and SHO of Secretariat Police Station. Both of them should be sent back to the Police Line and check their bank statements and property details.
