Hauz Qazi Police Station registered this disturbing incident reported by the daughter of the victimized woman. One indicted for rape is known as M. Feroz, alias Suhail, an unemployed BS degree holder.
Report states that ‘her son allegedly charged her of having a filthy relationship when he was a kid’. After some time, he attempted to sexually assault her.
In order to replenish her protection, she took refuge in her eldest daughter-in-law’s home, the officer stated. She further revealed that ‘following her homecoming, her son persuaded her to have an exclusive chat and locked her up in a chamber and once again raped her’.
As the police officer unfolds this anomaly occurred incident, it is said that the woman was afraid to accept and complain regarding this horrible incident.
Rape is the fourth most common crime against women in India. .According to the 2021 annual report of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB), there were reported cases of rape in the country numbering 31,677 or 86 per day on average, up from 2020 with 28,046 reported cases, while in 2019, 32,033 cases were reported.
