A special facility has been announced for students studying in colleges and universities in the federal capital to obtain a motorcycle driving license. Under this, students will be able to obtain a motorcycle driving license in a single day without completing a 42-day learner period.
Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Kainat Azhar Khan said in a video statement released on the official X account of Islamabad Traffic Police that this facility will be provided to students from November 1 to November 30, 2026.
According to the Chief Traffic Officer, the aim of this initiative is to provide the youth with the facility to obtain a driving license legally and make them abide by the traffic rules. Students of colleges and universities will be able to benefit from this special campaign.
According to the Islamabad Traffic Police, students should adhere to the traffic rules while riding a motorcycle, use a helmet and ensure safe driving.
Obtaining a license is not only a legal requirement but also necessary for the safety of themselves and others on the roads.
CTO Kainat Azhar urged the youth to take advantage of this facility and prove themselves as responsible citizens by fully abiding by the traffic rules.
