ISLAMABAD: Chairman FBR Rashid Mahmood Langrial has approved tax rules for non-resident social media influencers.

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has implemented new rules to bring non-resident Pakistanis and other individuals earning income from social media into the tax net.

Chairman FBR Rashid Mahmood Langrial has approved tax rules for non-resident social media influencers, under which a law has been implemented to collect 5 percent tax on social media income.
