How much money will the winning team of the Champions Trophy receive?

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the prize money for the Champions Trophy. The total prize money of the ICC has been increased by 53% from the previous edition.

According to the announcement, prize money of $6.9 million will be distributed in the ICC Champions Trophy, with the winning team getting $2.24 million while the runner-up team will get $1.12 million.

Both teams that lose in the semi-finals of the ICC Champions Trophy will receive $560,000. A prize of $34,000 will be awarded for each victory in the group stage match. The teams finishing fifth and sixth will get $350,000 and the teams finishing seventh and eighth will get $140,000. All teams will also be given $125,000 for their participation. It is worth noting that the ICC Champions Trophy will be hosted by Pakistan from February 19 to March 9. This will be the first ICC event to be held in Pakistan since 1996.

The matches will be played in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, while the Indian team will play its matches in Dubai. The tournament has eight teams divided into two groups. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semi-finals.
