If someone believes that after enduring a long imprisonment, they will abandon Imran Khan, they are mistaken. It is these very peopl e who have elevated the dignity of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Leaders like Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed, Ejaz Chaudhry, and Omar Sarfraz Cheema are the shining stars of our nation. They have dedicated their lives to the principles of sacrifice, courage, and perseverance. These are the people who stood firm on their beliefs, overcoming every obstacle with their unwavering resolve.
Dr. Yasmin Rashid, who has achieved excellence not only in the medical field but also in politics, is a perfect example of unshakable leadership. Her personality blends the compassion of a mother with the strength of a leader. Even in these challenging times, she has stood strong—not just with her leader but also with her principles. Dr. Yasmin, your courage, sacrifices, and steadfastness are a beacon of light for us. Your prayers, determination, and contributions will never be forgotten by this nation.
Leaders like Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed and Ejaz Chaudhry have shown us that age is just a number. These brave men, though advanced in years, possess a spirit that surpasses even the youth. Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed’s determination and Ejaz Chaudhry’s adherence to principles have taught us that leadership is not about power but about serving the nation.
Omar Sarfraz Cheema, my friend and brother, your courage and persistence are a source of pride for us. The way you have faced every trial with bravery is unparalleled. Your character proves that you are a prisoner of conscience who has continued the struggle for truth rather than bowing to oppression. Your example will always serve as a guiding light for this nation.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who has dedicated his political career to serving the nation, remains a strong and wise voice. His wisdom, experience, and determination are invaluable assets for this country. There was propaganda suggesting that Shah Sahib would abandon Imran Khan, but where are Sheikh Rasheed, Javed Hashmi, and Jahangir Tareen now—those who once claimed to be loyal to Khan? Sheikh Rasheed now talks about giving and receiving “friendly gestures,” but this struggle is not about mere gestures.
“Stepping into the battlefield of love requires true courage.”
“People think it’s easy to be a Muslim.”
Someone should inform Sheikh Sahib, who has breakfast with 10-15 people in Lal Haveli, that the real lion of Rawalpindi will, God willing, contest the next election under the banner of PTI.
Omar Sarfraz Cheema, who was also my Secretary of Information, has been with me since the day I joined the party. His companionship during difficult times, especially when he filed papers for the presidential election against Javed Hashmi, proved to be the right decision despite opposition from many.
Ejaz Chaudhry, with whom I share a great relationship since his days as a student leader in Lahore, has always been a principled figure. As the son-in-law of Mian Tufail of Jamaat-e-Islami and a member of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba, Ejaz has always held strong moral values. My brother greatly admired him, and I share the same respect.
Dr. Yasmin Rashid, as a woman of integrity, courageously contested elections against the false monarchs of Raiwind and defeated them.
All of your sacrifices prove that this movement is not just about one person; it is about an ideology. This movement stands on principles of justice, equality, and public service. You all have set examples of courage, persistence, and loyalty that will be remembered in history.
We pray that Allah grants you more strength, rewards your sacrifices in both this world and the hereafter, and elevates your spirits even higher. God willing, your efforts and sacrifices will not go in vain, and this nation will one day reap the fruits of your struggle. Leaders like you are a source of pride for us, and we pray that you continue to guide this nation with the same determination and courage.
