Another incident of a newborn baby allegedly being abducted from the labor room of the MCH of PIMS Hospital has taken place. The labor room staff abducted the newborn baby and placed someone else’s mother’s lap and tampered with the discharge certificate to make the baby a per-mail.
However, two weeks after the delivery, an unknown female caller repeatedly contacted the phone numbers of the newborn baby’s heirs and asked about the baby, raising suspicions among the heirs. After which, the heirs of the girl carefully checked the hospital’s discharge certificate and found clear evidence that a girl had been written instead of a boy.
After which, the heirs submitted a written application to the PIMS Hospital administration and Karachi Company Police Station for a complete investigation into the incident. A citizen named Raja Azizur Rehman, a resident of Pind Begwal, a suburb of Islamabad, says that on December 21, 2024, my wife Asma Bibi was admitted to the MCH of PIMS Hospital. On December 23, the labor room staff told me that you have given birth to a daughter and the baby girl was handed over to us healthy. On December 24, my wife was discharged from the hospital.
After a few days, a call came to my number from a mobile phone number. This call was from an unknown woman. The female caller asked me how is your baby? Did she get checked up? This unknown woman called me several times at intervals of a few days and repeated the same question. Her last call came on January 22, 2025 at 6:45 pm. After which we suspected why this call was coming? When we called back on this number, the number started getting disconnected.
When I checked the hospital papers, the discharge slip had been tampered with and the son was written as a daughter. There were clear rewritings of “Male Baby” at three different places on the discharge slip. I was convinced that we had a son, not a daughter. But the hospital staff handed over the daughter to us instead of the son. The real truth should be revealed by investigating the unknown female caller who has been calling us repeatedly.
