International Day of Interpol is commemorated in memory of police officers who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. In this regard, a prayer ceremony was held at FIA Headquarters. Interpol observes the International Day of Police Martyrs every year on March 7.
After Various ceremonies and sessions, Director General FIA Jan Muhammad laid a wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial and said that March 7 is a day to pay tribute to the eternal sacrifices of police martyrs. This is the day of those great people who sacrificed their lives for our peace and security.
The great sacrifices of the brave sons who laid down their lives for the motherland will never be forgotten. Today, we pay tribute to all the martyred policemen worldwide and express solidarity with their families. It is the day of unity and solidarity among law enforcement agencies around the world.
The courage, bravery, and sense of duty of the officers who sacrificed their lives are a beacon for us, and their sacrifices for the rule of law and the protection of the public will always be remembered.
Let us pledge that we will never forget the courage, greatness, and bravery of the martyrs who sacrificed their precious lives in the line of duty.
