The petition was rejected in the Lahore and Islamabad High Courts, and the meeting with the Punjab Governor was also fruitless. Students raised their voices on social media!
CSS 2025 candidates are facing severe difficulties, as the 2024 results have not been released yet, but FPSC has announced the conduct of the 2025 exams. Students are of the view that going ahead with the 2025 exams without the 2024 results would be a violation of the principles of transparency and merit. Protests, meetings, and legal battle but no hearing so far.
- Students trended on social media in favor of #CSS2025, but there was no response at the government level.
- Met Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, where he assured that he would take up the matter with President Asif Ali Zardari, but no progress was made even after this meeting.
- Petitions were filed in Lahore and Islamabad High Courts, but the court dismissed the case.
- Students said that it is impossible to prepare for the exam in 29 days and at this time they have become victims of severe depression and anxiety.
According to the Students, At this time, all eyes of the students are on President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and Maryam Nawaz. They hope that the top leadership of the country will go ahead and solve the problems of the youth and direct the FPSC to postpone the 2025 exams till the release of the 2024 results.
The student’s present written demands are given below: Â
- The 2025 exams should be postponed until the 2024 results are announced.
- FPSC should take the problems of the students seriously and ensure transparency.
- The President of Pakistan, the Prime Minister, and Maryam Nawaz should take immediate notice of this issue and solve the problems faced by the youth.
