Komal Aziz Khan, the beautiful and talented actress from the Pakistani showbiz industry, recently opened up about a deeply personal aspect of her life during a morning show appearance that left many fans surprised. When asked by the host about her greatest fear, Komal candidly admitted that the idea of marriage frightens her. She explained that although she considers herself brave capable of joining a sit-in, running a business, and facing public controversies, marriage remains a concept that unsettles her.
Komal attributed this fear to the marriages she has observed since her childhood, which she said lacked inspiration and did not offer a model she would want to follow. These experiences have shaped her hesitation and created a deep-seated concern about what marriage could mean for her future. She emphasized that independence has always been her top priority, earning her own income, making her own decisions, and living life on her terms. Because of this, she stated that she would only consider marriage when she is confident it would not compromise her freedom.
She further shared that witnessing many women in her workplace leave their jobs after getting married has also contributed to her fears. Despite this, Komal noted that within her own family, there is no tradition of restricting women after marriage, which has gradually helped reduce some of her anxiety on the matter.
In a separate interview some time ago, Komal Aziz had also stated that she would only marry someone who is more successful and earns more than she does. For her, equality and mutual understanding are the cornerstones of a successful relationship. She acknowledged that the high standards she has set for a future partner are likely one of the main reasons for the delay in her marriage.
