According to Chairman NAB Lt. (retd) Nazir Ahmed, 25,000 Pakistanis bought citizenship by transferring their capital abroad last year, while more than 10 million people have left the country in search of a better future.
While the world is developing, we are losing our talent and investment. Governments only make claims, but the reality is that people are forced to emigrate due to the worst economic conditions, corruption, and instability.
If Pakistan can become a trillion-dollar economy, then why are people leaving the country? Hasn’t the abuse of the business community, harassment of the industry, and poor policies increased this migration? Governments keep changing, but the problem is the same, talent and capital are continuously fleeing abroad on a large scale and this process is accelerating very rapidly.
