The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates(UAE) has introduced new guidelines for visa application for those who want to enter UAE. These instructions have been updated to streamline the whole process and ensure that candidates are fully prepared.
Visa Processing Fee:
Visa applicants are to pay a processing fee of 69 dollars per head. This processing fee applies to all visa categories, from visit or tourist visas to family visas.
Application Process:
Those applying for visas other than employment visas must now apply online. Once the application is successfully submitted, the applicant is notified to set up an appointment at the embassy or the appropriate visa center.
Documents Required:
Applicants must provide all of the following documents on the visit to the embassy or the visa center:
Proof of Visa Application:
A document proving submission of the application online.
Bank Statement:
A signed and stamped bank statement of the applicant, parent, or sponsor over the last six months-to reflect a minimum balance of USD 5,000 or its equivalent.
Accommodation :
Provide evidence of hotel bookings, other accommodation arrangements, an invitation letter, or proof of residence from friends or family residing in UAE.
Return Air Ticket
A confirmed return air ticket.
Identification
Original, valid national ID card or passport with at least six months’ validity.
Visa Fee Receipt
Original receipt for the depositing $69 visa application fee into the designated Al-Falah Bank account.

- Children Under 5Years
- No visit to the visa center is necessary.
- Provide the passport-size photograph in a white background.
- No sunglasses in the photograph, and the child has to sit normally.
- Children Aged 6 to 15 Years
- No need to bring photographs, those will be taken at the visa center.
- Children Aged 15 and Up
- Should visit the visa center in person.
Will follow through the entire visa application process as an adult would.
