National Book Foundation Federal Ministry of Education and Professional Training organized a reception ceremony for the book “Ujalay Apni Yaadun Ke” by renowned writer Syed Izharul Hassan Bukhari in collaboration with Qalam Qafila Islamabad Rawalpindi at Ahmed Faraz Auditorium.
The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Maqsood Jafri while the special guests were Dr. Nisar Turabi and Professor Irfan Jamil. Among the guests who expressed their views at the ceremony were the guests of honor Javed Mohsin Malik and Shahab Safdar, besides Ghayyur Hussain, Dr. Sher Ali, Aali Shaar Bangash, Munir Fayyaz and Ali Bin Aziz. The duties of management were performed by Asiya Haroon Asi, Secretary of the literary and cultural organization Qalam Qafila.
In his presidential address, Dr. Maqsood Jafri spoke about Syed Izhar-ul-Hassan Bukhari and his book “Ujalay Apni Yaadun Ke” and said that Syed Izhar-ul-Hassan Bukhari is a true and genuine writer. In this book, Syed Izhar-ul-Hassan Bukhari has compiled a history of his life and the periods in which he was a principal in various colleges, which can be used by teachers and students.
The author has written this expression with courage and wisdom, which is commendable. Dr. Nisar Turabi, Irfan Jamil, Javed Mohsin Malik, Shahab Safdar, Dr. Sher Ali, Ghayyur Hussain, Aali Shaar Bangash, Munir Fayyaz and Ali Bin Aziz gave analytical and study-based views on the book “Ujalay Apni Yaadun Ke” (Memoirs).
The speakers said that the publication of such a book will spread the light of knowledge and wisdom to educational institutions, students and teachers because the author has tried to bring the truths and positive aspects of the college era under discussion. He has spent his entire life as a patriotic Pakistani until his retirement, and because of such teachers, an important role can be played in shaping the new generation.
On behalf of the National Book Foundation, Saleem Akhtar expressed his gratitude to MD Murad Ali Mohmand for his engagements and spoke about his successful activities and discussed the event.
He explained the aims and objectives of the National Book Foundation and spoke about the activities of the National Book Foundation and book fairs for the promotion of book reading. The distinguished guests expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the attendees of the event. It was a dignified and memorable event. A large number of poets, writers, writers, and teachers from Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Wah Cantt participated in it.
