Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed grief over the martyrdom of innocent and peaceful civilians in the firing of Fitna-ul-Khawarij in the Bagh Maidan area of ​​Tirah Valley.

According to the sources of The INQUIRER, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the firing of Fitna-ul-Khawarij on peaceful citizens in the Tirah Valley area of ​​Khyber District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. He also directed to provide immediate medical assistance to the injured in the unfortunate incident.

Shahbaz Sharif said that the heinous intentions of terrorists cannot shake Pakistani resolve. He said that Fitna-ul-Khawarij and terrorism will be brought to their logical conclusion.

It should be noted that earlier this week, two children were killed when a mortar shell fell in Raghzai village of Tank district. After the incident, relatives and local citizens protested and closed the Tank-South Waziristan road, demanding that those responsible be identified immediately and action be taken against them.

According to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Special Advisor on Communications and Works Sohail Afridi, a similar incident had taken place a day earlier where a mortar shell hit a house, killing a young girl. Following the incident, locals protested in front of the Frontier Corps (FC) compound today (July 27).

Sohail Afridi told The INQUIRER that “angry locals gathered at the gates of the FC compound, and when the crowd approached the compound, firing was started.”

According to Sohail Afridi, there were reports of casualties and injuries in the incident among protesters.
