KASHMORE: Police on Monday arrested a TikToker, identified as Aroosa Solangi, on charges of facilitating dacoit gangs by luring victims through a honey trap scheme and handing them over for ransom.
According to police, the arrest was made in Punjab’s Kahror area, near Guddu Barrage, following a tip-off. The suspect has been booked in a case registered by Kashmore police.
Officials said Solangi had been acting as a facilitator for the notorious Sher and Kosh gangs. She allegedly trapped individuals from different areas using social media, after which they were abducted and ransoms were extorted.
Police sources added that further interrogation was underway, with more revelations expected. Investigators have also seized the suspect’s mobile phone and are examining data for evidence of her links with criminal networks.
